Our Team

Digital Scholarship Team helps the HKU community plan, conduct digital projects, offer help to undertake digital research, teaching and publishing. In order to facilitate interdisciplinary research, we work closely with Preservation and Conservation, Engagement and Learning Environment, Learning and Research Services with all subject librarians, Technical Services, and Technology Support Services which can help you to plan out and work out projects.

Digital Scholarship Team offer students, faculty, staff, and researchers from all disciplines within the HKU community a front-end library services, mainly include:

Consultation for all aspects of Digital Scholarship, project advice, project planning, digital assests management, building the robust infrastructure.

Partnerships that we connect with internal or external potential partners for Digital Scholarship projects.

As a core member of the HKU community, Digital Scholarship Team of HKUL can be your close partner who helps you to start and build Digital Scholarship projects. Our team is competent to help you to build your own project by adopting an APPLE principle:

  1. Actualize: Conceptual ideas to project proposal
  2. Produce: Building up relevant content from data creation and data curation
  3. Process: Develop and design initiatives with usable interfaces and functions
  4. Link: Publishing the output to connect audiences around the world
  5. Explore: Contributing on of Digital Scholarly activity and explore new possibilities for teaching and research
